UEFA Coaching Convention
Re-evaluation of the Bulgarian FA's membership
Dear Mr. Popov,
At the end of 2004, the UEFA Executive Committee approved a recommendation from the Jira Panel to introduce a re-evaluation of the Convention's member associations every three years. This re-evaluation is based on updated documentations and on evaluation visits, carried out by Jira Panel members.
The Panel felt this measure was necessary in order to maintain the Convention's credibility, and to ensure a continuous quality of the national coach education programmes. The re-evaluation offers both parties the opportunity for a constructive exchange.
As you may know, Mr. Michel Sablon, Technical Director of the Belgium FA and member of the Jira Panel, met Prof. Dimitrov, Mr. Nikolov and Mr. Todorov in Sofia, in this context. Mr. Sablon's feedback was positive, following the change of leadership in your coach education programme. We are pleased to inform you that the Bulgarian FA continues to fulfill all the UEFA Convention requirements.
We would like to congratulate you on your successful work in the field of coach education.
Best wishes,
U E F A
Andy Roxburgh
Technical Director
